Dear Family,
Children are able to learn more and accomplish more when they feel good about themselves. And when children feel good about themselves, they tend to feel good about others too! In First Grade your child will be introduced to Howard B. Wigglebottom, a bunny who is going to help your child learn to feel better about themselves, make good choices and feel capable. Together we will be sharing stories and activities that will reinforce these concepts.
It is important that you are aware of the lessons that I will be sharing with your child. Your child will be bringing home letters that will review what stories we have discussed in class.

Please be sure to ask your child about Howard and the stories and activities that we share together. Reinforcement from home is so beneficial to your child’s learning and I thank you in advance for your support of the counseling program.
